Sportbike with a Hybrid Engine, Kawasaki Ninja7 Hybrid Released at a Price of IDR 190 Million

DRF.com – For the first time, Kawasaki introduced the Ninja7 Hybrid sports motorbike in Europe last year and also appeared in Japan at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show. Now the manufacturer has launched the motorbike again and announced its release date and official price for the Japanese market.

Armed with a Hybrid Engine

This sportbike is equipped with a new 2-cylinder 451cc engine combined with an electric motor, connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission that can shift gears electronically. It also doesn’t have a clutch lever and to change gears manually you use the button on the left switch.

With this, fuel consumption on this sports motorcycle can reach 23,6 km/l and can also be more economical by using the idling stop feature and Eco mode. There is a feature that can also be found on Kawasaki molis, namely the E-Boost system to mobilize all the power of both drives so that it can increase acceleration which is even equivalent to a 1.000cc motorbike.

Complete Technology and Other Features

The Ninja7 Hybrid is equipped with a number of equipment such as a 4,3 inch TFT screen instrument panel, full LED lighting, driving modes such as Eco, Sport and EV or full electric mode which uses only the electric motor, walk mode to help when parking.

In terms of design, this motorbike is similar to the Ninja ZX-6R, especially the front appearance and main lights which are probably exactly the same. Braking is supported by dual 300mm discs at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear mounted on 17 inch alloy wheels wrapped in 120/70 and 160/60 tires.

The Kawasaki Ninja7 Hybrid is marketed in Japan with only 1 color choice, namely Metallic Bright Silver x Metallic Matte Lime Green. Priced at 1.848.000 yen or around Rp 192,1 million. The release and official price have been announced since March 13, and what is interesting is the information that this Hybrid motorbike will be produced and assembled at Kawasaki Thailand.
