DRF.com – KTM collaborates with Brabus, which is a high-class automotive company that works on vehicles with powerful engines. Now, the two manufacturers are preparing the 2024 Brabus 1400 R which comes with a larger engine capacity than its predecessor, the Brabus 1300 R.
Bigger and More Powerful Engines
The new model for 2024 will be powered by a larger capacity LC8 V-Twin engine. which was originally 1,301cc to 1,350cc, is the new engine used on the newly released KTM 1390 Super Duke R Evo. With this engine, the power will be higher.

This new engine from KTM has an enlarged cylinder volume, so it can produce 190 HP of power at 10.000 rpm and maximum torque of 145 Nm at 8.000 rpm. In the gear ratio section there are also changes which are equipped with assist and slipper clutch features.
Will Come in Various Types
According to media sources from Germany, Brabus has submitted an application to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). In the application there are several specific motorbike product names, they have registered “Brabus 1400 R Trailor Made”, “Brabus 1400 R Rocket” and “Brabus 1400 R Signature”.
This means that these two manufacturers will later present the Brabus 1400 R with various type options. However, KTM and Brabus have not yet officially disclosed related information. It is likely that this bike will be launched before the end of the 3rd quarter of 2024, which is expected before the end of this year.

Apart from that, the Brabus 1400 R is equipped with a number of features and technologies such as an electric throttle system, 4 driving modes (Street, Rain, Sport and Performance). There is also a Track Package option which can turn off the ABS system on both wheels, an ABS Pro system which can adjust the response. The ABS can be adjusted via the TFT screen instrument panel.
With the new engine, this motorbike has a new frame structure which is stronger compared to the trellis frame on the previous model. Swingarm parts and the addition of other electronic systems may also be present later.
