Start From IDR 18 Million, Yamaha Indonesia Launches Gear 125 with New Colors

DRF.com – A sleek scooter in the entry-level class, namely the Yamaha Gear 125, has just been presented again by YIMM (Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing). This motorbike was launched with new colors and graphics for the 2024 model, and was offered in 2 variants, namely the more luxurious S Version and the Standard Version.

New Colors and Graphics

The Standard Version variant has a total of 5 new, more colorful color choices, including Dull Blue, Red, Cyan, Olive and Black with sporty graphics on the side panels. Meanwhile, the variant above, the S Version, comes with 2 matte color choices, namely Matte Blue and Matte Red. In the S variant, the appearance of this scooter becomes more premium.

Complete with brown seats and a gold “Gear 125” emblem on the side, both colors have gold striping. The features on this sleek scooter include LED headlights, hazzard lights, electric power socket for charging cellphones and double hooks for carrying/hanging more luggage.

Prices for 2024 Models

The engine sector will still be the same, equipped with a 1-cylinder 125cc, SOHC, injection, air-cooled engine which can produce around 9,4 HP of power at 8.000 rpm and 9,5 Nm of torque at 5.500 rpm, connected to a CVT transmission. Regarding the price itself, the Yamaha Gear 125 Standard type is priced at IDR 18,5 million and the S type is priced at IDR 19,2 million.
