DRF.com – French electric motorbike manufacturer, Motowatt, has just released a new product which they call W1X. This electric motorbike appears with a unique design and a front suspension system that is different from ordinary motorbikes, and is powered by 2 electric motor dynamos.
High Performance with 2 Electric Motors
The Motowatt W1X is equipped with 2 electric motors placed on the front and rear wheels with an independent system. This electric motorbike is capable of producing a maximum power of 25 kW or around 34 hp. With this power, it complies with A1 licensing regulations in Europe.

The battery installed on the W1X is claimed to be able to cover a distance of up to 130 km on a single charge. To charge the battery it takes 5.5 hours from 20 to 80 percent using 220V household electricity.
Unique Suspension System
What attracts the attention of this electric motorbike is the front suspension system which uses a single sided swingarm system at the front and rear. The front uses a Hub Steering Control system which is similar to the one on the Bimota.
The design of the Motowatt W1X is also quite interesting, where the front looks like a retro motorbike with a round light in the middle and a shield. The frame is exposed, the side body is simple without many curves and the seats have a daimond pattern.

Until now, the French manufacturer has not yet revealed the official price. However, they will accept pre-orders in March and they said that they will start shipping in January 2025. The manufacturer also said that later it would provide more complete information regarding the specifications of this electric motorcycle.
