DRF.com – An electric motorbike manufacturer from Singapore, namely Scorpio, has announced and officially introduced their new product under the name X1. This motorbike, which was built in collaboration with BYD, has a design like a large scooter.
Scorpio revealed that they will target the Thai market as their main market, the manufacturer is also targeting other ASEAN markets such as the Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia. Especially countries that are developing a lot of electric motor technology.
Scorpio Electric Motorcycle Manufacturer Collaborates with BYD to Build Scorpio X1
Currently, only the Scorpio X1 will be officially sold by the manufacturer. Scorpio is working with BYD, which has had good growth in the Thai market, so it can continue to support the development of this new electric motorbike.
Later the X1 will be powered by an electric motor dynamo which can produce power of 10 kw or around 13.6 hp, and is claimed to be able to go up to 65 mph or 105 km/h.

It is reported that they are developing many models and will be mass marketed so that they can always meet market needs in ASEAN. Scorpio itself has established its headquarters in Shenzhen, China, which is the same place as BYD’s corporate headquarters.
