DRF.com – It is reported that Honda is preparing a high-class adventure motorbike with the name CB1000 Type X, that will use the platform from the CB1000 Hornet which was only launched last year. Currently, Honda is the only one that does not have a choice in the sport touring motorbike class like other Japanese manufacturers.

Will it Be Called The Honda CB1000 Type X?

The name of the Honda CB1000 Type X it’s still just an estimate or it’s still uncertain, maybe later when it launches it could be different. At the time of the launch of the CB1000 Hornet, it was reported that the manufacturer was also preparing another model that used the same platform. Most likely it will appear in 2025, but the design is still an estimate of a digital image.

What will be taken from the Hornet may be just the engine and frame, other parts such as lights, body and legs will likely be different because it adapts the segment to the adventure touring motorbike concept.

Considering that the CB1000 Hornet itself uses an engine from the old CBR1000RR Fireblade, this sport touring style motorbike will have the most powerful power output. The SC77 engine is capable of producing 190 hp of power, 38 hp higher than the engine installed on the Suzuki GSX-S1000GX with 152 hp of power.
