A Small Scooter Yamaha Jog 125 Model 2024 Officially Launched!

DRF.com – Yamaha Japan has launched a small scooter, the Yamaha Jog 125, which focuses on practicality and agile maneuverability. This motorbike comes with a number of updates, namely a new color scheme for the 2024 model so that the appearance of this motorbike is fresher.

125cc Engine Specs

This small scooter is equipped with a 125cc 1 cylinder, SOHC 2 valve, air-cooled engine which is capable of producing around 8,2 Hp of power at 7.000 rpm and a maximum torque of 9,8 Nm at 6.000 rpm. The engine transmits its power to the rear wheels via a CVT transmission.

The design of this motorbike is quite simple, the front body is one which also acts as the front fender. With small tires, standard telescopic suspension at the front and a suspension at the rear and the lighting sector is still a bulb.

New Features and Sections

The Yamaha Jog 125 is equipped with a number of features, including a storage compartment under the seat or trunk of 21.3 liters which can accommodate a half-face helmet. At the front there is also a small storage area that can hold a water bottle and a place to fill up fuel at the front. This motorbike can also have a USB port added separately.

What’s new is that there are 2 new colors (Dull Blue Solid B and Vivid Red Metallic 5) which will come with the colors in the previous model (Black metallic X and White Metallic 1). So, now there are a total of 4 color choices with a slightly increased price tag of 264,200 yen or around IDR 27.5 million.

Previously the price was 255,200 yen or the equivalent of IDR 26.6 million, this price included tax. It is reported that the newest 2024 model will officially go on sale on March 19 2024.
