Honda Launches 2024 CBR650R and CB650R E-Clutch Prices Revealed!

DRF.com – Honda Europe releases the 2024 CBR650R and CB650R E-Clutch models which come with several updates. These two models come with the introduction of new clutch technology, namely the sophisticated Honda E-Clutch and in this type there is a price increase compared to the standard model.

2024 Honda CBR650R and CB650R E-Clutch

In terms of design, there are no changes, both CBR650R and CB650R. However, now the two sports motorbikes in the middle class are available with the “E-Clutch” variant and their weight will increase by 2 kg. The regular manual transmission variant is of course still on sale.

The engine is still the same, with a 4-cylinder 649cc, DOHC 16 valve, liquid-cooled engine capable of producing around 93,8 HP of power at 12.000 rpm and 63 Nm of torque at 9.500 rpm. This motorbike is supported by an upside-down suspension from Showa SFF-BP and a monoshock at the rear.

Braking is supported by a pair of 4 piston calipers from Nissin with dual 310mm discs and a 240mm disc for the rear. The wheels use 17 inch rims wrapped in tires measuring 120/70 at the front and 180/55 at the rear.

Price Increase with E-Clutch Technology

With the complete Honda E-Clutch technology, the price is 100 Euro more expensive (around Rp. 1,7 million) compared to the standard variant without this technology. In Europe, the standard Honda CB650R is sold for 7.799 Euro (equivalent to Rp. 132,9 million) and the E-Clutch variant for 7.899 Euro (around Rp. 134,6 million).

Meanwhile, the standard Honda CBR650R is priced at 8.599 Euro (around Rp. 146,5 million). The E-Clutch variant is marketed for 8.699 Euro (around Rp. 148,2 million). Both motorbikes will be available in April 2024.
