Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade Model 2024 Now Finally Officially Available with Updates

DRF.com – After yesterday’s announcement, now the 2024 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade and SP models have officially arrived with updates launched in Japan. The main change is in improving acceleration performance at medium speeds by improving a number of engine components.

Upgraded 999cc Engine

This superbike is powered by a 999cc inline 4 cylinder engine which looks the same as the previous model, but now the innards have been refined. There are changes in the camshaft lifting time to open and close the valves and the piston head has also been changed to increase the engine compression ratio, which was originally 1:13.4 to 1:13.6.

With that, acceleration at medium speed is better. There is also a crankshaft with a lighter weight so that the engine response is more responsive to each throttle opening, and the gear ratio has also changed.

The 2024 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade model is the first superbike to be equipped with a TBW or Two-Motor Throttle system, where this system uses 2 motors to regulate the gas valve opening. So that at every gas opening it will be better and improve the engine brake system when releasing the gas.

New Winglet Design and New Features

The winglets have been redesigned, the undercowl body and front shield have also been changed to make them more aerodynamic, the superbike frame components have also been improved so that the weight and level of stiffness are more optimal when cornering.

The electronic system has been improved, such as changing the Individual driving mode, engine brake control, and on the most expensive type, namely the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, there is an additional feature where the rider can input his body weight into the motorbike system, so that the suspension system will automatically adjust electronically.
